Senior Java Developer:
Job Description
Candidate will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of large-scale multi-tiered java applications in the application and network management space using technologies such as Java Server Pages (JSP), JMS, ActiveMQ, Struts, Spring Framework, JDBC and Flex. A minimum of 5 years of Java development experience is required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of in depth software development experience with Java/J2EE application development using Object Oriented design and principles
- Hands-on experience with server side technologies such as Tomcat, Struts, Spring, JMS, jChart, SOAP, and client side technologies such as Flex, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Strong familiarity with development tools such as Eclipse, Perforce/CVS, Ant
- Keen understanding of structured development methods throughout the entire development lifecycle
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- Prior experience in developing application & network performance monitoring solutions using SNMP, JMX is preferable

Technical Product Engineer:
We need highly technical product experts - people willing to learn our product, explore new
new technologies and how we can interface with them, work with our customers
to troubleshoot or expand the product using the API or customizations.
Our engineers get a chance to explore and learn new network & server technologies
since they have to keep up with the cutting edge environments of our customers.
The ideal candidate should have the following required skills and experience
with a willingness to maintain a flexible schedule and travel to customer locations
as required for technical meetings, product trials, and post-sale implementations.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high-level of technical expertise to major network, hosting, and enterprise customers along with internal service delivery teams
- Actively explore new network technologies and how our product can interface or work with these technologies
- Work with customers to troubleshoot or expand the product using the API
- Give feedback to the development teams about observed requirements from Customer installations
- Work closely with all levels of customers, internal engineers and management to ensure resolution of complex issues.
- Assist in developing internal and customer facing knowledge based articles, participate in User Forums etc.
Requirements
- Expert Unix/Linux scripting skills (Perl, Python or shell)
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in Linux/Unix administration
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networks and SNMP based management
- Working knowledge of VMware, Xen, and/or Microsoft Virtual Server
- Hands-on experience with Network and Application monitoring tools such as NetVigil, GroundWorks, OpenNMS, HP OpenView, BMC Patrol a plus
- SNMP based network management system experience a strong plus
- Strong customer service, technical account management, and troubleshooting skills required
- Passion for the Internet and related new technologies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational skills, and able to work well in a fast paced start-up environment
Inside Sales Representative:
Zyrion, an IT Infrastructure & Cloud Monitoring software company, is looking for an Inside Sales representative in a dynamic, evolving fast growth environment.
The Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for responding to inbound leads, setting-up demos, creating quotations for new and existing customers, and following up with prospects. Also, in the nature of a young company, the person will be expected to help in other marketing and sales operations activities as needed.
This position reports to the Sales Manager and based out of our HQ in Sunnyvale.
Job Description
- Develop an active sales pipeline of qualified prospects
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assist potential customer during their evaluation process, to closing the sale
- Work with senior sales team to qualify leads, and support them during the sales process
- Conduct online product demonstrations over the web to potential customer's audiences
- Develop and grow sales to the company's current needs
